Not sure what’s wrong with your computer? We’ll take a full look at your computer and explain what’s happening, what needs to be fixed, and what doesn’t.

We check:

  • Hardware health (hard drive, memory, overheating)

  • Software and startup issues

  • Viruses or suspicious activity

  • Overall system condition and lifespan

You’ll get honest recommendations and pricing before any work is done.

*This fee goes towards the cost of necessary repairs on your final bill. If no repair is approved, the diagnostic fee is a non-refundable coverage of our time up to that point.

If your computer is slow, freezing, popping up ads, or just not working like it used to, this is the service most people need. 

This package combines virus removal, security cleanup, and full system optimization into one complete service.

For this package, we do the following:

  • Remove viruses, malware, spyware, and unwanted programs

  • Clean up background processes slowing your system down

  • Remove junk files and unnecessary startup items

  • Check system integrity and updates

  • Secure your computer to help prevent future infections

Most customers notice a significant speed improvement and smoother performance right away.

If we discover:

  • A failing hard drive

  • Severe system corruption

  • Hardware limitations (very old systems)

We’ll explain your options clearly before proceeding whether that’s a repair, upgrade, or replacement recommendation.

When software issues are beyond repair, a fresh install is often the fastest and most cost-effective solution.

Includes:

  • Clean OS installation

  • System updates and drivers

  • Essential software setup

  • Performance optimization

We will back up your data, reinstall the OS, ensure the computer’s most important software is installed, and transfer your data back to your computer. 
 

*We start with the $129 Security Cleanup & PC Optimization and if the OS reinstall is necessary, it’s only $49 more for the OS reinstall. 

We do this small extra cost because we can usually fix these issues for the $129, however, if the OS has a hidden bug or virus we can tell is there, but we cannot remove, we will need to do the reinstall. This covers all of the time spent up to this point.

Sometimes your hard drive or OS is badly damaged and cleanup of the Operating System is clearly not possible or not recommended. In that case, we will skip that step and move straight to the OS reinstall. We will reinstall, configure and optimize your computer and transfer your data back (if recoverable) for $149 plus data transfer/recovery rates.

If your hard drive is damaged, then it will be necessary to purchase a new hard drive as well, which we can provide.

Though much of the world has moved to laptop and tablet devices, desktops have the highest value when it comes to performance and longevity. That’s why so many people still enjoy desktops and custom builds especially with 2 or more monitors. 

While we do not repair the hardware itself, we can diagnose and replace hardware, perform stress tests and solve many hardware issues from causing bigger issues.

Here are the common desktop issues we see and can resolve:

  • Computer is very slow or takes forever to start

  • Freezing, crashing, or random restarts

  • Pop-ups, ads, or strange warnings appearing

  • Programs opening by themselves

  • Internet feels slow only on this computer

  • Fans running loud or system overheating

  • Black screen or blank display on startup

  • Windows won’t load or gets stuck starting

  • Error messages you don’t understand

  • Computer worked fine “yesterday” but not today

  • Files missing or hard to find

Computer doesn’t charge? Power jack broken? Screen flickering? Keyboard or mouse doesn’t work? 

These are typical problems we can solve with reasonable time and costs for repair.

We realize that consumer brand computers have significantly decreased in price over the years so sometimes the cost of repair might not be reasonable. 

If a new laptop computer of similar performance or features is equal or less than the cost or repair, we will most likely advise against repairs like this. 

In this case, we will transfer your data to your new computer based on our data transfer/recovery rates. 

However, mid to higher end computers are much more cost prohibitive vs simply replacing them. In this case, it typically does make sense to repair them and keep them several more years.

Here are common laptop issues we see and resolve: 

  • Laptop is very slow or freezing

  • Takes a long time to turn on or log in

  • Battery won’t hold a charge or dies quickly

  • Laptop only works when plugged in

  • Screen is black, dim, flickering, or cracked

  • Keyboard keys not working or typing incorrectly

  • Touchpad not responding properly

  • Laptop overheating or fan running constantly

  • Random shutdowns or restarts

  • Laptop won’t power on at all

  • Windows won’t load or gets stuck starting

  • Pop-ups, ads, or virus warnings

  • Internet keeps disconnecting

  • USB ports not recognizing devices

  • Laptop feels unusually hot

  • System updates failing or stuck

  • Files missing or accidentally deleted

  • “It worked fine until I closed it”

Price Starts at $149 for labor plus parts. 

Setting up your home networks, computer, printers can be time consuming depending on your devices and internet provider. 

That’s why we offer easy in-shop setups for these systems.

Bring in your printer, router and computer and we will setup your local or wireless printer configuration in the shop and ensure your router is setup for your home. 

When it’s done, you can just plug everything in and get to work!

If you need us to pick up and deliver your equipment can do that for a small fee. We can also unplug and plugin your setup. 

*We do not do this full service in-home because it would be much more expensive for us to bill on-site hourly for this work. We try to be as efficient as possible and keep computer repair affordable for all in our community.
